2) I have decided to put my car up for sale. Over 65k has been put into this car to restore it-the car comes with a binder 2 thick with pictures of the restoration and receipts. Some of the pictures are from BuyaVette (they say thier name on the bottom), whom I purchased the car from originally-the condition of the car has not changed since then, the last 5 pictures with the Lotus 7 are from 11-9-17. The AC blows cold and the car drives great. The only problem with the car is the wiper door has just recently decided not to close anymore. The car is currently located in Michigan.
Here is the description: THIS IS AN ORIGINAL W CODE BIGBLOCK CAR VIN: 1Z37W2S503502, Code correct Pewter Silver exterior, code correct Black leather interior. Originally assembled on September 28, 1971, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1972 Corvette 454 is in excellent condition, and features desirable air conditioning, and copies of records dating back to 2006. This car was painted in 2009 with a nice shine. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. The interior of the car shows recent excellent cutpile carpet, sill plates, and leather seats, exc door panels, vg center console, rear storage bins, GM seatbelts, and dash pad, and a good condition steering wheel. Custom Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo has been added, and the clock is currently working with a quartz movement. The engine in the car shows correct casting number 3999289, and original casting date July 7, 1972. The chrome valve covers were added by me and I do have the originals as well.Stamp pad is bare from being decked. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, ignition shielding, valve covers, and A/C compressor are all in place, and the engine compartment has been nicely detailed. A VBP monoleaf rear spring, and Bilstein shocks are replacements also. Engine was rebuilt in 2010, and the suspension was rebuilt in 2007. Brake lines have also been replaced, as well as the exhaust.
